Vision

SAARC’s mission is advocating for reparations to repair past injustices to local Black communities. We are committed to a near future where systemic harms to Black communities in Seattle and King County no longer occur.

Our Journey

Founded in 2022, SAARC emerged from a coalition of 41 Black-led organizations dedicated to addressing the long-standing impacts of anti-Black racial injustice. Since our inception, we have established a strong foundation through research, education & public engagement, cultural work, and coalition-building.
